Course Overview:

The triathlon starts and finishes in the picturesque setting of Prairie Springs Park. Lake Andrea, a sparkling 100-acre spring fed lake, will serve as the venue for the swim portion of our race. The bike & run course will take you through Prairie Springs Park, a 425-acre park that surrounds Lake Andrea. All volunteer and participant parking will be on-site.

Course Information:

Swim Start
• The Swim Start is on the west side of Lake Andrea.
• ALL athletes MUST report to the swim start 15 minutes prior to their scheduled wave start.

Swim Route
Youth Division: 100m swim / Senior Division: 200m swim
• The swim will follow along the shoreline of Lake Andrea beach.
• Lake Andrea is a spring feed lake. Water temperature will be in the mid to upper 70's.
• The start and finish are on a sandy beach.
• Lifeguards line the entire course.
• The course is defined with the beach lines and buoys.
• Start waves are decided and divided by age and gender.
• Swimmers are required to wear a colored swim cap.

Bike Transition
• The bike transition is adjacent to the swim start and exit.
• Bikes MUST be WALKED in the Transition area. Mount & dismount zones are outside the transition area.
• Bikes MAY NOT be removed from the bike transition until the last bike has completed the bike course and exited the transition area for the start of the run.

Bike Route
Youth Division: 4k / Senior Division: 8k
• The bike course is on the bike path along Lake Andrea.
• Bikers are required to wear a strapped helmet and radios are not allowed.
• All bikes are required to display a bike number.

Run Route
Youth Division: 1k run /Senior Division: 2k run
• The run course is flat.
• Water and replacement fluids are available.

Finish Line
• The Finish line is located in Prairie Springs Park on the EAST side of Lake Andrea.
• Water, fluid replacement & fresh fruit will be provided.

Courses are subject to change.

Waves
Age and gender divisions determine all waves.
A detailed wave list with athlete wave number and starting time will be available on August 11.
